The International Folk Festival “Grand Alegria” is a non-competitive sample of traditional dances performed by folklore groups. At the festival may participate in children and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, choirs, as well as groups and performers from other art styles. The age of participants is not limited.

During the festival, each group will have 2-3 performances in Calella in the evening hours. Depending on the number of groups we will let you know about the minutes of your performance. During the day groups are free to visit Barcelona for sightseeing the city attractions or for shopping, or simply enjoy the free time on the beach. Every Group will be rewarded with a Certificate for taking part in the Festival.

The festival organizers will organize the transport for the groups coming by plane by picking them up from the airport, during the festival days, and back to the same airport. The cost of the transportation will be covered by the group and will be additionally agreed upon according to their number.

The groups coming by bus can use their own transport all the time during the festival and the small journeys around the city. Any expense caused by the usage of the bus (accident, robbing, breakdown, etc...) should be covered by the vehicle’s insurance. Each member must have a travel insurance policy.

Parking for buses (during your stay) is paid by the group at the rate set on the parking place (approximately 18 euro per day).

1st day - 23.06.
15:00-Arrival and accommodation of the groups at the hotel
19:30-Free Afternoon

2nd day - 24.06.
10:00-FFA Zumba on the beach
10:30-Meeting with FFA representative and short description of the festival program (2 leaders per group max)
19:00-Parade
19:30-Concert (Depending of the number of the groups we will let you know about the minutes of your performance.)

3rd day - 25.06.
07:30-Breakfast (each group will receive a schedule from the hotel)
10:30-FFA Zumba on the beach
11:15-Beach Volleyball Tournament
13:00-Free Time - Excursion Day – Opportunity to visit Barcelona (You can find more information in “Excursions” section.)

4th day - 26.06.
07:30-Breakfast (each group will receive a schedule from the hotel)
10:30-FFA Zumba on the beach
11:15-Beach Volleyball Tournament
18:00-Concert & Diploma Rewarding (Depending of the number of the groups we will let you know about the minutes of your performance.)

5th day - 27.06.
07:30-Breakfast (each group will receive a schedule from the hotel)
08:00-Free Time
20:30-Flamenco Master Class (learn to dance Flamenco with professional Flamenco dancer)
21:15-ZUMBA group performance

6th day - 28.06.
07:30-Breakfast (each group will receive a schedule from the hotel)
10:00-Departure of the Groups After The Breakfast
